This Privacy Policy explains how OVERdrive Trivia (“the app,” “we,” “us”) handles your information. OVERdrive Trivia is an offline-first trivia game for professional drivers, operated by Forbes Development LLC.

The short version

No email, no password, no sign-up. The app creates an anonymous account behind the scenes so your scores and leaderboard entries can sync. We don't sell your data, we don't run ads, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.

1. Who we are

OVERdrive Trivia is operated by Forbes Development LLC. Questions about this policy or your data: support@overdriverules.com.

2. Information we collect

We only collect what the game needs to function:

  • Anonymous account ID. Created automatically the first time you play. It contains no personal information and is used to keep your scores and streaks consistent across sessions.
  • Display name.The nickname you choose for leaderboards. Pick anything you like; it doesn't need to be your real name and is visible to other players on leaderboards and in friend challenges.
  • Gameplay data. Scores, answers, streaks, badges, and daily challenge results, tied to your anonymous ID so leaderboards and challenges work.

That's it. No email address, no phone number, no location, no contacts, no advertising identifiers.

3. How we use your information

To run the game: syncing scores, powering the Daily Challenge leaderboard, and settling friend challenges. To maintain security and prevent abuse. Nothing else. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

4. Offline play

The app works offline. Trivia questions are bundled with the app, and you can play with no connection at all. Gameplay data is stored on your device and syncs to our servers the next time you're online.

5. How your information is shared

  • Leaderboards. Your display name, driver type, and score are visible to other players on shared leaderboards and in matches you join.
  • Service providers. We use Supabase as our database, authentication, and hosting provider. Supabase processes and stores data on our behalf under its own security and privacy commitments.
  • Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data retention and deletion

Your gameplay data is kept while your anonymous account is active. To delete your account and associated data, email support@overdriverules.com with your leaderboard display name and roughly when you played, and we'll remove it.

7. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored with our hosting provider using industry-standard protections, including row-level security.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data. Contact us at support@overdriverules.com and we'll help. California residents (CCPA/CPRA): we do not sell your personal information, and you will not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

9. Children's privacy

OVERdrive Trivia is rated 13+ and is built for working professional drivers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

10. Where we operate

OVERdrive Trivia is intended for users in the United States, and we store and process data in the U.S.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “Last updated” date above.
